Use of third party extensions
Like many other companies, we use extensions from third-party providers. Within our own website, content from third parties (e.g. social media, analysis tools, marketing tools) is integrated. In doing so, personal data may be disclosed to or automatically transmitted to the third-party providers.
The legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest). Where consent has been given: Article 6(1)(a) GDPR.
Social Media
The links to social media (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter) integrated on our website are not integrated via so-called plugins. The integrated graphics merely contain an HTTP link. When visiting our website, no direct connection is established with the servers of the providers.
Analysis Tools
Google Analytics (with anonymisation function)
This website uses functions of the web analysis service Google Analytics. The provider is Google Ireland Limited (“Google”), Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland.

Contract data processing
We have concluded a contract data processing agreement with Google.
Transfer to third countries
The transfer of data to the USA is based on the EU standard contractual clauses. According to the case law of the ECJ (judgment of 16.07.2020, case no.: C-311/18 (“Schrems II”)), there is no adequate level of data protection in the USA.
Google Maps
On our homepage we use Google Maps, a cartographic service of Google Ireland Limited (“Google”), Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland, to display our location.
When you access the page containing the map, your browser establishes a direct connection to the Google servers. The following data may be transmitted: date and time of access, URL of the page, IP address, and any start address entered for route planning.
We have no influence on such data transfers. If you do not wish data to be transmitted to Google, you can completely prevent this by deactivating JavaScript in your browser. However, this means that the map display cannot be used.

Google Webfonts
In order to display our content correctly and graphically appealing across browsers, we use script libraries and font libraries such as Google Webfonts. Google Webfonts are transferred to the cache of your browser to avoid multiple loading. If the browser does not support Google Webfonts or prevents access, content is displayed in a standard font.
Calling up script libraries or font libraries automatically triggers a connection to the operator of the library. It is theoretically possible that operators of such libraries collect data. Your IP address is transmitted to the operator.
