Purpose of data processing

If you provide a salutation and name, we use this to personalise our communication. The additional data serves to demonstrate accountability of the consent and to prevent misuse of the services or the email address used.

Tracking pixels may be used to optimise the newsletter by analysing opening rates and click behaviour.

Transfer to third country

Our newsletter is sent via a service provider in the USA, with whom we have concluded a controller-processor agreement. The transfer of email addresses is based on EU standard contractual clauses.

According to the case law of the ECJ (judgment of 16.07.2020, case no.: C-311/18 (“Schrems II”)), there is no adequate level of data protection in the USA. In particular, there is a risk that your data may be processed by US authorities for control and surveillance purposes, possibly also without legal remedies.

Duration of storage

The data will be deleted after withdrawal of consent, unless it needs to be retained for proof purposes.

Possibility of objection and removal

The consent to subscribe to the newsletter can be cancelled at any time. For this purpose, there is a corresponding link in every newsletter.
