Description and scope of data processing
This data protection notice informs you about how we handle personal data that you transmit to us in the course of your application by email or by post.
Please note for applications by email that your data is transport-encrypted but not content-encrypted when transmitted over the internet. For secure communication, please use appropriate tools to encrypt your application, for example a zip file with password protection. You can communicate the password to us by phone. Alternatively, you can send your application by post.
We may also scan postal applications for digital processing.

The following data is processed by us:
- Application documents
- First and last name
- Address
- Phone number
- Email address
Your application data will be reviewed by the HR department upon receipt. Suitable applications will be forwarded internally to the department heads responsible. Within the company, only those persons who need to do so for the proper conduct of the application process have access to your data.
Legal basis for data processing
The legal basis is Article 88 GDPR in conjunction with Section 26(1) sentence 1 of the Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG) 2018. The legal basis for any prosecution of claims is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR.
Purpose of data processing
The personal data is processed exclusively for the purpose of carrying out the selection procedure and filling the advertised position. Processing for any other purpose or disclosure of data to third parties does not take place.
Duration of storage
Application documents will be deleted no later than six months after the conclusion of the application procedure. If you consent to longer-term storage in the applicant pool, the data will be deleted after one year. If the application is successful, the data will be transferred to the personnel file.
Possibility of objection and removal
You can withdraw your application at any time. In this case, all data related to it will be deleted immediately, unless legal retention periods prevent this.
