Description and scope of data processing

In addition to contact information that we receive electronically, employees and managing directors of our company receive, for example, business cards or participant lists from events. These personal business contact data are transferred to our contact database / CRM system.

  • Company, position
  • Company address
  • Email address
  • Company website
  • Phone number, mobile phone number, fax number

Additional data:

  • Time and purpose of contact
  • Industry
  • Appointments
  • Contact history
  • Customer number / customer type

The data is processed exclusively within the scope of our business relationship. There is no disclosure to third parties.

Legal basis for data processing

The legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest). If the contact is based on pre-contractual measures, Article 6(1)(b) GDPR is the additional legal basis. For the purpose of checking sanctions lists, the legal basis is Article 6(1)(c) GDPR (compliance with legal obligations).

Purpose of data processing

Administration and provision of the possibility to contact persons and companies, including but not limited to:

  • Contact maintenance
  • Information exchange
  • Cooperation
  • Preparation of offers
  • Reporting
  • Project management
  • Checking of sanctions lists

Duration of storage

After a period of four years, it is reviewed whether further storage is necessary. In the event of an objection, the data will be deleted immediately, unless there are legal reasons to the contrary.

Possibility of objection and removal

You have the option of objecting to the processing and storage of your personal business contact data at any time. All personal data will be deleted or blocked in this case. Please note that in this case the business conversation cannot continue.
