Register an account for the ICAROS-Online Shop
On our website we provide the opportunity to register for access to our ICAROS Online Shop by entering personal data and creating a personal login. The registration can be carried out by companies (company employees, individual companies) and private individuals.
Data, collected during a registration is transferred as inventory data to a customer account in our ERP system, stored and used for future orders and to manage the customer relationship. Data transmission is secure using SSL encryption.
The following data is collected during registration as a customer:

- First and last name
- E-mail address
- Password
- Address (Street, house number, postal code, town, country)
- Company/department if applicable
You may optionally provide an alternative delivery address:

When ordering via the online account, the following data will also be stored at this time:
- The user’s IP address
- Date and time of order
- Products or services ordered
- Invoice details
- Payment method (currently prepayment, Paypal)
After registration, you can access your online account at any time by providing your e-mail address and password.
You can view your current order status, receive information about the shipping status and edit your data (e.g. customer account data, address, delivery address, password, etc.) among other things.
Business customer enquiry
As a business customer, you can send us an enquiry via a form on the shop page.
The data collected from a business customer enquiry is transferred as inventory data to a customer account in our merchandise management system, stored and used for contacting and processing your enquiry.
The following data is collected during the business customer enquiry:

On the shop page you can send us a request via a contact form.
The data collected during the request will be used to get in contact with you and processing your request.

Legal basis for data processing
Private clients/individual enterprise: Registration and the creating of a customer account serve to fulfil a contract to which the user is a contracting partner or to implement pre-contractual measures. The contract usually consists of a purchase contract. The legal basis for the processing of data is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR.
Business customers: The registration and creation of a customer account by the contact person of a business customer is based on Article 6(1)(f) GDPR.
The legal basis for the processing of data transmitted while contacting us via the contact form or business customer enquiry is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR.
Consideration point for the balancing decision to be taken is inter alia recital 47 /GDPR "The processing of personal data for the purpose of direct marketing may be considered as being a processing activity of a legitimate interest."
Purpose of data processing
A registration of the user is necessary for the fulfilment of a contract or for the implementation of pre-contractual measures if the user wants to place his order via the Internet in the online shop.
Processing of the transmitted personal data serves solely to process the enquiry. This includes the legitimate interest in processing the data.
Duration of storage
The data are deleted as soon as they are no longer required for the purpose of their collection (i.e. if the data are no longer required for the fulfilment of a contract) or if you delete them yourself.
Even after the completion of a contract, it may be required to store personal data of the contractual partner to fulfil contractual or legal obligations (accountability, retention periods). Data transferred to the ERP system will be stored in accordance with applicable retention periods.
Long-term obligations require the storage of personal data in the customer account during the term of the contract. In addition, warranty periods must be respected and the storage of data due to retention periods.
Right to object and right to rectification
Registered users have the possibility to cancel their registration in the online shop at any time. At any time, you can erase or modify the data stored about you or have it erased or modified.
When you delete your online account, your registration (login) and all data collected during registration are deleted from the online system.
If data are necessary for the fulfilment of a contract or for the pre-contractual implementation of measures, a premature deletion of data in the customer account (merchandise management system) is only possible if there are no contractual or legal obligations to the contrary.
