ICARACE can be booked as a subscription via the payment service provider PayPal.

Legal basis for data processing
Private clients/individuals: The processing of the data entered in mandatory fields to register and create a customer account in ICARACE is intended to fulfil a contract (maintaining registration) to which the user is a party. The legal basis for the processing of the data is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR.

Business customers: The registration and creation of a customer account by the contact person of a business customer is based on Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interests consist in providing the game and evaluation functions via the personalised login.

The legal basis for the processing of data that can be optionally entered (e.g. date of birth, gender) is Article 6(1)(a) GDPR.

Purpose of data processing
Registration is required for the central provision of certain non-public content and services.

Duration of storage
Data collected during the registration process will be deleted unless they need to be stored longer depending on the purpose (e.g. execution of the contract) or if you delete them by yourself. The data will be deleted if no legal consideration (retention periods, accountability) prevents this.

If you withdraw your consent to the publication of ranking data, your data will be deleted from the ranking lists.

Personal data stored in the context of registration of the contractual partner even after deletion of the registration may be necessary to fulfil legal or contractual obligations (accountability, retention periods).

Right to object and right to rectification
You have the possibility to modify or completely delete the data of your customer account in ICARACE at any time.

The data stored about you for the processing of which you have given your consent can also be deleted, amended, or modified at any time.

If the data is required for the fulfilment of a contract or for the implementation of pre-contractual measures, earlier deletion of data is only possible unless contractual or legal obligations prevent deletion.
