Current Study with the ICAROS Guardian
Study on stroke rehabilitation
Together with the German Sport University Cologne and the Schlaganfallhilfe Bergisch Land e.V. association, ICAROS is currently participating in a study on stroke rehabilitation.
Fifteen stroke patients from Wermelskirchen and the surrounding area are taking part in the study. As part of the study, the participants are training on the ICAROS Guardian for a period of six weeks until the beginning of March.
The study is being conducted by the German Sport University Cologne and supervised by Joel Massing.
The study is investigating how the training affects stroke patients.
Among other things, it focuses on the following questions:
How does the mobility of the participants change?
Do they develop more confidence in walking during the course of the training?
With this study, we want to scientifically support the use of the ICAROS Guardian in neurological rehabilitation.
The collaboration with the German Sport University Cologne and the Schlaganfallhilfe Bergisch Land e.V. association shows how we continue to develop innovative training solutions in a practical and research-based manner.
We will keep you informed about the further course of the study and the findings obtained from it and provide you with regular updates.
