2024 ICARACE World Championship

Pilots Compete for the Title of World’s Fastest in the 7th Edition of ICARACE Championship

The 2024 ICARACE World Championship brought together the perfect fusion of eSports and physical fitness, creating a truly exhilarating competition that put participants’ core strength, balance, and reactivity to the test. Held annually, ICARACE is a global online multiplayer racing game played on ICAROS machines, which combine physical exercise with the thrill of high-speed virtual racing.

This year’s championship, the seventh in the series, took place on December 14th at Heaton Health and Sports in Spilsby, U.K. The venue, hosted by Dr. Phil Heaton—a surgeon, professional sprinter, and passionate ICARACE pilot—set the stage for an unforgettable showdown.

Competition Highlights

  • Participants: Pilots from Austria, Germany, and the U.K. raced to claim the title of "ICARACE World Champion 2024."
  • Format: After four qualifying rounds across two groups, the finalists competed in a high-stakes marathon race.
  • Results:
    • 1st Place: Lil Phil (U.K.)
    • 2nd Place: Tomislav (Austria)
    • 3rd Place: Sprintheat (U.K.)

Participants competed using cutting-edge PICO headsets, ensuring an immersive and highly competitive experience.

A Growing Global Phenomenon

ICARACE continues to expand its global presence. Recently, a local tournament was held in Shanghai, China, for the first time, organized by our Chinese Distribution Partner. The success of the event highlights the growing popularity of ICARACE as both an eSport and a fitness challenge.
