The ICAROS-HUB is the central solution of ICAROS GmbH to establish the connection to the end customer (B2C).

The most important features are the central login, which is used for all ICAROS games, the subscription model, and the evaluation of usage data (playing time, calorie consumption etc.)

Subscriptions can be obtained via Goggle Play or via the Apple App Store. Google's privacy policy and Apple's privacy policy apply.

Description and scope of data processing

Registration of a user account for the ICAROS-HUB
On our website you can register for access to the ICAROS-HUB by entering personal data and to create a central personal login. The registration can be carried out by companies (company employees, individual companies) and private persons.

The data collected during registration is transmitted to us securely using SSL encryption and is transferred as inventory data to a customer account in our merchandise management system, stored and used to manage the customer relationship.

Verification of the authenticity of the registration is ensured via an e-mail with a link for the double opt-in procedure.

The following data is collected during registration:
Sign UP - mandatory fields:

• E-mail address
• Password

Alternatively, it is possible to register via a Goggle account or via an Apple ID. In this case, the Google Privacy Policy or Apple's Privacy Policy applies.

User account:
Mandatory fields to create a private account:

• Username
• Country

Optional measurement performance fields for private accounts:

• Date of birth
• Gender
• Weight
• Size

After successful registration you can access the ICAROS-HUB at any time by entering your e-mail address and passwords.

There you can edit the areas profile and activity.
Profile editing options:

• Upload/change photo
• Change account details
• Change login
• Delete account
• Change Subscription

Editing possibilities Activity:

• Upload/change local training and activity data (smartphone/tablet)

Evaluations Activity:

• Kilocalories burned/day
• Time Device usage/day
• Possibility of comparison with anonymised data of similar persons

Legal basis for data processing
The processing of the data entered in mandatory fields for registration and creation of a user account in the ICAROS-HUB serves the fulfilment of a contract (maintaining registration) to which the user is a party. The legal basis for the processing of the data is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR.

The legal basis for the processing of data that can be optionally entered (e.g. date of birth, photograph, activity data) is Article 6(1)(a) GDPR.

Purpose of data processing
Registration is required for the central provision of certain non-public content and services.

• Presentation of the kilocalories consumed, and equipment use, if this option is selected by the user
• Creation of rankings as a means of comparison with other players when using the games offered at the HUB

Duration of storage
The data collected during the registration process will be deleted unless they need to be stored longer depending on the purpose (e.g. execution of the contract) or if you delete them by yourself. This applies unless legal considerations (retention periods, accountability) prevent deletion.

Even after deletion of the registration, it may be a requirement to store personal data of the contractual partner to comply with contractual or legal obligations (accountability, retention periods). Data transferred to the ERP system will be stored in accordance with applicable retention periods.

Right to object and right to rectification
You have the possibility to change or completely delete the data of your customer account in the ICAROS-HUB in the section "Profile" at any time.

The data stored about you for the processing of which you have given your consent can also be deleted or amended or deleted at any time.

If the data are required for the fulfilment of a contract or for the implementation of pre-contractual measures, an earlier deletion of these data is only possible, as far as no contractual or legal obligations prevent a deletion.
